About the Project
Garveriet takes flight! In the summer of 2026, British artist Peachzz transformed the façade of Nya Fabriken with a large-scale mural inspired by the surrounding nature.
The mural depicts a kingfisher, one of Lerum Municipality’s designated species of special responsibility, which can be found along the Säve River right next to Garveriet. With its distinctive colours, the bird now stretches across the wall, connecting the artwork to the nature and landscape that surround it.
