Artscape Ljusdal 2019

In August 2019 the rockstars of the art world invaded idyllic Ljusdal (“valley of light”) with urban art. One week of creation peaked with three days of action packed art bonanza. Thousands of visitors from all over Sweden joined us for workshops, screenings, talks and lectures, where everyone was welcome to flex their creativity!

Ljusdal is a small rural town in northern Sweden, known for rolling forest hills and decorated farmhouses. ARTSCAPE 2019 LJUSDAL definitely changed that with 16 international and Swedish artists filling the town with large-scale murals, installations and sculptures.
